What You Will Need:
4 Avocados
2 TB Lemon Juice
2 TB Minced Onion
1-2 tsp. Crushed Garlic
1/8 tsp. Cumin
1/8 tsp. Salt
1/8 tsp. Pepper
4 dashes Hot Sauce (Texas Pete, ie.)
What You Do:
1. Cut the avocados in half, take out seed with knife, spoon the meat into a bowl
2. Add everything else and mash it all up
3. Adjust seasonings to your taste
The Scoop:
This is a very basic but very good Guacamole that anyone can make and anyone will enjoy. A lot of people add fresh tomatoes but that only works if you are eating it all right then. Sometimes we will put sundried tomatoes and they keep better if you are saving some for later. Cilantro should really go in to Guacamole but it is something I rarely just have on hand so I omitted from this recipe thinking you guys probably would have to go buy it. If you have it or are going shopping for it definitely add at least a quarter cup of chopped cilantro for a true Mexican dish. This dish is so easy to make there is no reason to buy the runny stuff from the store. Make it at home and impress your friends and family.
